3'40" - Stephanie (ft Malleous)
07'04" - Logic
10'44" - Tribute

After a night of partying, you suddenly wake up disorientated in a cold dark room full of 0s and 1s. They suddenly merge together into blinking flat square lights, first white lights, then they start taking on various shades of greens, blues, and reds, which evolve into even more colours. Then with a singular chirp, the music begins...

"SMW" is an acronym for a videogame I loved playing as a kid. This song is a tribute to that videogame and was the inspiration behind this EP. Unlike the other tracks on this EP, the original version of "SMW" was created in FL Studio on a laptop a few years ago back when I used a laptop.

"Stephanie" features my friend Malleous on the bridge and is my one and only "boy band"-styled song, lol. I wrote and rewrote the lyrics for this song many times while trying to avoid cheesy cliches and tropes, and I kept failing. Then I decided to fully lean into cheesy cliches and tropes and created the final song. This song was originally slated to be released on my previous "The Future as Perceived by the Late 80s" EP, but it was cut. I used to have a crush on this lady back in college (back in 2002), and this song is about her.

"Logic" is one of those pieces I've remade several times since its initial conception in 2002/2003 in the MTV Music Generator game on my Playstation. I consider this version the definitive version of the song. Yes, I do use the JV-1080 Pizzi sound when the main theme comes in a second time.

"Tribute" is a tribute to my late Great Aunt Rose who passed last week. This piece was inspired by soundtracks like "Bladerunner" and "Tron - Legacy".

Apps Used - NS2 on my iPad for the main tracks (except "SMW", which was produced in FL Studio on a laptop). PaulXStretch was used on this one sample to stretch it out to about 14 minutes to create the backing soundscape. Synths such as Squaresynth and Pure Synth Platinum 2 are featured on some of these tracks, although "Tribute" uses Obsidian exclusively (except the reverberated kickdrum). To master the EP, I Used RX950, MagicDeathEyeStereo, Pitch Drift, UA lo-fi-af, and Barricade in AUM.
