Welcome to a strange planet where the inhabitants aren't so different from you and I. They might have day jobs, but when their sun sets in the East, it's time to let loose, unwind, relax, and enjoy life.
"Landing in an Unknown World" is the closest to the standard Lofi sound you hear on Youtube, although for something different, I used the infamous pizzi sound heard in many 90s Eurodance tracks for the solo in the middle, lol. Welcome to Xarvox, Earthlings, and enjoy your stay.
"The Club" is an odd Disco House-styled track with a ripper saxophone melody in it. Time to strap on the moon boots and boogie the night away!
"Cocktail" is the first track I produced for this EP which was directly inspired by a piece of art of the same name painted by the amazing Nikolai Lockertsen. After a night of dancing, it's time to kick back and sip on something strangely delicious you just can't get on Earth.
"Departure" is a relaxing Lofi Lounge type of piece set in a 5/4 time signature. All good things must come to an end, and thus it's time for the Earthlings to return back to Earth.
Apps Used - FL Studio Mobile on my iPhone for the main tracks, AUM with the recently released Fluss fed into Rymdigare for the alien soundscape, and AUM with RX950, UA lo-fi-af, MagicDeathEyeStereo, and NoLimits limiter to master the EP.
